Polar bear at Md. Zoo euthanized

Reston Zoo director guilty of animal cruelty charge

A Fairfax County judge found the director of the Reston Zoo guilty of animal cruelty for inhumanely euthanizing a wallaby in January. She will serve 30 days in jail and pay $1,250 in fines.
