LA PLATA, Md. - A La Plata man fell to his death Saturday after climbing a tree to get to his hunting stand.
Albert Attanacio Castro, 62, died after falling about 21 feet. Maryland Natural Resource Police said the accident happened on Castro's property near Dentsville in Charles County.
Police said Castro had medical issues that might have contributed to the accident. An autopsy is planned.
Castro's body has been sent to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
