SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. (AP) -- The state's Civil War history lesson on wheels is rolling into Spotsylvania for the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Chancellorsville.
The Civil War 150 HistoryMobile will begin its three-day visit on Friday.
The 53-foot tractor-trailer uses interactive exhibits to bring alive stories of the Civil War and Emancipation from the viewpoints of those who experienced it -- soldiers, slaves and civilians.
Besides the rolling history lesson, The Free Lance-Star (http://bit.ly/YmN2yw) reports that Spotsylvania's Chancellorsville commemoration will include reenactments, living history events, a crafts fair, music of the period and numerous other activities.
The National Park Service will also present a series of events within the battlefield park.
