DUNDALK, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police say a man found dead behind a Dundalk elementary school died as a result of exposure to the extreme cold.
Police said Wednesday that the medical examiner has preliminarily that 28-year-old Daniel Cedillo, of an unknown address in Baltimore, died of hypothermia.
Cedillo's body was found by a school support employee behind Logan Elementary School just before 7 a.m. Tuesday, a time when the area was experiencing some of the most severe temperatures from the polar vortex that swept through the eastern U.S.
Baltimore County Police are also investigating the death of 40-year-old Jason Meisenhalder, who was found dead Tuesday afternoon in Rocky Point Park in Essex. Police have not released a cause of death but do not suspect foul play.
