BALTIMORE (AP) -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection says its officers discovered nearly 128 pounds of cocaine inside a shipping container in Baltimore.
The container was from Colon, Panama. CBP says it's the largest such seizure in Baltimore since 2007.
The container was full of car parts, but CBP officers say they spotted something unusual with imaging technology. Inside, they found two gym bags, each containing 50 bricks of powder cocaine.
The street value of the drug is estimated at $4 million.
The agency says not much cocaine has been found at the Port of Baltimore since 2007, when there were three major seizures, including one that topped 300 pounds.
