WOODLAWN, Md. (AP) - A Baltimore County woman is facing arson charges after police say she intentionally started a fire inside her Woodlawn home.
Police say 25-year-old Ashley Joy Davis also kicked out the window of a police car and assaulted an officer while being processed.
Police responded Saturday morning to a report of a suicidal person inside a home on Langford Road. Officers left after determining it was a case of simple assault, but were then called back to the home and noticed a fire in a second-floor room. Police say Davis admitted setting the fire as part of an ongoing dispute. No one was injured.
Davis is charged with arson and other crimes. She's being held at the county jail on $250,000 bail.
