OVERLEA, Md. - An off-duty Baltimore County police officer has been shot in Overlea after he attempted to disperse a crowd of people blocking a residential street.
Baltimore County police say the officer was driving near Dale Avenue and Danville Road around 3:20 a.m. Sunday when he found a large group of people blocking the street. Police say the officer asked the crowd to move so he could pass.
