Md. man convicted of killing teen in 2010 shooting

TOWSON, Md. - A Lansdowne man has been convicted of killing a teenager in a shooting two years ago.
Nineteen-year-old Sterlin Matthews was convicted Thursday of second-degree murder, assault and a handgun offense. He will be sentenced Jan. 10.
Prosecutors say Matthews killed 16-year-old Dequan Burks and injured two others in a shooting Oct. 31, 2010 in Halethorpe.
