BALTIMORE - Baltimore fire officials have identified two men who died in a house fire that also left five people injured, including a pregnant woman.
The victims were 55-year-old Scott Wiles and 52-year-old Andrew Bryant. Both died at the scene of the fire, which broke out around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at the wood-frame home in northeast Baltimore. The other occupants suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Fire department spokesman Kevin Cartwright says firefighters found the body of one victim while still bringing the flames under control. The second body wasn't found until after the fire had been contained and water had been pumped out of the basement.
Officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Twelve people died in fires in Baltimore last year, the lowest recorded total in the city's history.
