WASHINGTON (AP) - Monique Oliver tied her season high with 23 points to lead Rutgers to a 75-54 victory over George Washington on Friday night.
April Sykes added 17 points and Khadijah Rushdan had 13 for the Scarlet Knights (11-2), who begin Big East play at home against Syracuse on Tuesday.
Tara Booker scored 14 of her 18 points in the second half for GW, which briefly closed the deficit to 12 points after trailing by 19 at halftime.
Danni Jackson added 14 points and Tiana Myers had 10 for the Colonials (6-7), who have lost four of their last five.
Rutgers shot 48 percent (31 of 65) and held GW to 39 percent shooting (19 of 49) in a game attended by Baltimore Ravens and former Rutgers running back Ray Rice. The Knights also forced 23 turnovers.
The Colonials had the most points against Rutgers by an unranked team since the Knights beat Boston College 73-58 on Nov. 16.
