SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) -- Lee Skinner scored 14 points -- on 7 for 9 shooting -- and led five players in double figures as Wofford ran roughshod over Division III Johnson & Wales (NC) 90-48 Saturday afternoon.
Wofford (2-4) received balanced scoring in the rout. Spencer Collins chipped in with 13 points, while Eric Garcia, Jaylen Allen and Karl Cochran all had 12. The Charlotte campus of Johnson & Wales (3-7) was paced by Nick Crawford with 17 points. The Wildcats shot just 32.7 percent (18 of 55) from the floor.
The Terriers went on a 12-point run midway through the first half, and a 7-0 streak to close the half, to blow things opens against the undermanned Wildcats. After another 6-0 run to open the second half the lead stood at 31 points and Wofford was able to go to its bench for much of the second stanza.
