TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Arizona coach Sean Miller has signed another stellar recruiting class, a four-player group that's rated among the best in the nation.
The 2014 class includes forward Stanley Johnson, rated the No. 3 overall player by Rivals.com, forward Craig Victor, point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright and shooting guard Kadeem Allen.
Scout.com rated Miller's latest class No. 3 in the nation and Rivals.com fourth.
"A while back, we recognized as a staff that this was a very important class to solidify our future," Miller said. "I believe that this group of four certainly does that. We've added four hard-working, determined, well-coached competitors who will come in and add to the overall strength of our program from day one."
Johnson is considered one of the top players in the 2014 recruiting class, a physical wing who won MVP honors at numerous high-end basketball events and a pair of gold medals with USA Basketball. The 6-foot-8 forward led Mater Dei of Santa Ana., Calif., to three straight state championships and averaged 19.4 points and 8.7 rebounds last season.
Allen, a 6-foot-3 guard out of Wilmington, N.C., was a junior college All-American and the NJCAA preseason player of the year after averaging 17.3 points at Hutchinson Community College.
Parker Jackson-Cartwright, a 5-8 guard from Los Angeles, is a physical player who averaged 15 points and eight assists at Loyola High School.
Victor, a 6-foot-8 forward, is considered one of the most versatile players in the 2014 class and averaged a double-double at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans before transferring to Findlay Prep over the summer.
Miller has consistently signed some of the nation's best recruiting classes, including last year's group led by power forward Aaron Gordon.
Arizona is 5-0 this season and ranked fifth in The Associated Press Top 25.
