WHAT'S AT STAKE
The Bruins and Utes both had the week off to prepare for this game. For the Bruins, this will be their Pac-12 opener. Utah coach Kyle Whittingham is 6-2 coming off bye weeks, his only two losses to league opponents (Washington in 2011 and USC last season).
Utah QB Travis Wilson vs. UCLA DEs Cassius Marsh and Keenan Graham. Wilson had his first career start last season in the Rose Bowl, completing 23 of 33 passes for 220 yards in a 21-14 loss to the Bruins. Marsh and Graham have combined for four sacks this season along with 5½ tackles for loss.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
UCLA: QB Brett Hundley. He's just four TD passes shy of tying Troy Aikman (41) for fifth place in school history. Hundley also is 194 yards away from matching Aikman for seventh in total offense.
UTAH: RB Bubba Poole. Went by James Poole at the beginning of the season, but elected to go with his nickname, Bubba. By any name, he leads the Utes in carries (58) and yards (304).
