How a one time prison is now for artisitic freedom
Arts & Stripes: The Workhouse Salutes the Military and the Arts is a month-long celebration at the Workhouse Arts Center. It kicks off Saturday July 2nd at 4pm with the The Arts & Stripes Picnic -- a FREE event open to all. 4-8:30pm Interactive art demonstrations, youth and family activities, picnic food and drinks from American Bar-B-Que*, along with other fun outdoor activities. Patriotic concert by the New Dominion Choraliers. Then at 7:00pm the US Navy's premier jazz ensemble, the Commodores. There is a $5 suggested donation that will benefit the Lorton Arts Foundation.
