ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Police say a man was stabbed after an argument over music playing on a jukebox at an Annapolis restaurant.
As one of the men involved in the argument walked home with a friend early Thursday, Annapolis police say 34-year-old Martin Marroquin Rodriguez walked up, gave him a hug, then stabbed him in the stomach. Police say 41-year-old Demesio Portillo Lopez of Annapolis assaulted the friend, cutting his abdomen.
The stabbed man was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, but his friend refused treatment.
Marroquin Rodriguez is charged with attempted first-and second-degree murder, assault and other offenses. He is being held without bond.
Portillo Lopez is charged with first-and second-degree assault and a weapon charge. He is being held on $50,000 bond.
Court records don't list attorneys for the men.
