SEVERN, Md. (AP) -- It's the Environmental Protection Agency's "Fix a Leak Week," and Anne Arundel County is celebrating by giving toilet leak detection kits to residents.
Department of Public Works employees in Anne Arundel County will be spending Monday through Friday handing out the kits and plumbing information at the Lowe's store in Severn.
The county says that nationwide, minor home water leaks result in more than 1 trillion gallons of water wasted each year.
