Boy carrying stick hurt when it touches power line

SEVERNA PARK, Md. (AP) - Fire officials say a 10-year-old boy was seriously injured when a stick he was carrying came into contact with a power line in Severna Park.
Authorities say the boy was walking on of Randell Road about 12:30 p.m. Monday carrying a bamboo pole. The pole touched a power line.
The Capital of Annapolis ( http://bit.ly/UieoOk) reports that the boy was taken to Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital in Baltimore with serious but non-life- threatening injuries.
