ANNAPOLIS, Md. - A spokeswoman for Gov. Martin O'Malley says the Maryland State Police will have an increased presence in the area around Camp David for the Group of Eight leading industrialized nations meeting this week.
Raquel Guillory said Wednesday that state police have been coordinating with local and federal law enforcement over the last several months to prepare for the summit, which is scheduled to begin Friday.
Guillory says state police do not have any information at the present time indicating there will be a significant crowd or disruption to be concerned about in the area around the presidential retreat.
