Tax-free shopping holidays set in Va. and Md.

WASHINGTON - Both Virginia and Maryland are offering tax-free holidays for you to complete your school shopping.
Virginia's holiday is set for Aug. 5-7 and Maryland's from Aug. 14-20.
In Virginia, school supplies that are under $20 are exempt from taxes.
Clothing and shoes under $100 will be tax-free in Virginia.

In Maryland, only clothing and shoes priced at under $100 or less are included in the state's tax-free week. Taxes will apply to accessory items.
