Gas prices beginning to climb upward

WTOP's "Pain in the Gas" survey shows the average price of a gallon of regular is $3.70 - an increase of seven cents from last week.
The average for mid-grade is now $3.88, up eight cents from last week. Premium is now $3.99, up four cents from last week. Diesel is now $4.03, which is down four cents from last week.
The average for regular fuel this week is cheapest in Maryland, at $3.62, compared to the Virginia average of $3.65 and the District average at $3.84.
