LANDOVER, Md. - Howard County Executive Ken Ulman sang "Hail to the Redskins" and picked up trash in Prince George's County Wednesday all while sporting the burgundy and gold.

Ulman traveled to Landover near FedEx Field to pay off a friendly wager he made with Prince George's County Executive Rushern Baker.

"We had a blast. And frankly it just brought up regionalism...bringing the region together. We're really all part of the Baltimore-Washington area. We're all Marylanders and we had some fun with it," Ulman said of the game and the bet.

Ulman arrived with his daughter Lily, both in purple and black, before donning a burgundy and gold Robert Griffin III jersey. He and Baker used a Redskins-decorated golf cart to collect trash along the road near the Wayne Curry Prince George's Sports & Learning Center.

The Washington Redskins defeated the Baltimore Ravens 31-28 in overtime on Sunday.

Baker and Ulman watched the game together, they said.

"(Baker) said I could get out of it with us going into overtime. And I said I felt very confident with the backup quarterback in there that we were going to win and look what happened," Ulman said. "That was a great game. Unfortunately we were on the losing end."

Baker said he hadn't been that nervous since he waited for election returns. He called the community service a "fitting punishment."
