Veronica Robinson, Evening Anchor, has been in radio news for over 20 years.
She started out in Petersburg, VA at Magic99/WGCV an Urban/Gospel combo station.
After moving from afternoon anchor to morning anchor and News Director, she moved
onto WRVA in Richmond.
She won numerous Associated Press awards after starting as a beat reporter and
afternoon anchor at WRVA and moving on to morning anchor. Her career at WRVA ended
with her hosting an evening news magazine called "NewsLink," long before
"Entertainment Tonight" had a segment of the same name.
Veronica took a nearly year break from radio, but discovered broadcasting's in her
blood, and took a job as News Director at B101.5 in Fredericksburg. After three
years, Veronica realized she wanted to work in a Top 10 market and was blessed to
hired by WTOP.
