After graduating from the University of Virginia, Mark became a reporter and anchor at radio networks in Virginia and North Carolina.
Mark took his first "break" from broadcast journalism for an opportunity to come to the nation's capital. For ten years, Mark advised major corporations, government agencies and non-profit organizations on effective communications strategies. But then he discovered that lightening can indeed strike twice. Mark anchored his first hour of news on WTOP radio in 1999, and knew that he'd again found home.
