(AP) - THE ANNOUNCEMENT: Health insurer UnitedHealth Group Inc. said Monday it will preserve some provisions required by the health care overhaul even if the law fails to survive an upcoming Supreme Court ruling.
THE PROVISIONS: They include provisions related to coverage of preventive care like immunizations and dependent coverage offered for adult children up to age 26. UnitedHealth also will not impose lifetime dollar limits on its coverage.
THE BIG PICTURE: The Supreme Court is expected to issue a ruling on the law's constitutionality later this month. It could strike down the entire law or parts of it or uphold it.
