(AP) - THE RESULTS: Lexus led all brands in J.D. Power and Associates' annual survey of automobile quality. Jaguar and Porsche tied for second, while Cadillac and Honda were fourth and fifth.

RECORD QUALITY: Car and truck quality has risen gradually in the past several years, and 2012 was the best year ever.

TECH GLITCHES: Quality scores would have been even higher were it not for problems with touch-screen controls and other electronic gadgets. J.D. Power says the devices don't always work well, and people are having trouble using them.
