CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) -- Tickets are going on sale for the Virginia Film Festival, which will feature more than 100 films in Charlottesville next month.
Starting Friday, tickets are available on the festival's website or at the University of Virginia, where the 26th annual celebration of film will be held Nov. 7-10.
Besides independent films, documentaries and classic movies, the festival will also bring some stars to Charlottesville, including Tippi Hedren, who starred in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds." Former Saturday Night Live regular Will Forte will attend the screening of Alexander Payne's "Nebraska," in which the comic makes his dramatic debut.
The festival will also showcase the work of Virginia filmmakers.
