RICHMOND, Va. - A film documenting Virginia's role in American history is making its debut in Richmond.
Titled "Keepers of the Flame," the 20-minute film will be shown Thursday night at the Capitol visitor center. The film was produced by the Virginia Capital foundation with the assistance of Tim Reid. A Virginia native, Reid and his wife, Daphne Maxwell Reid, founded Virginia's first full-service film studio, New Millenium Studios, in Petersburg in 1997.
The film will be available for viewing seven days a week during regular tours of the Capitol starting Friday.
