Woman dies after collapsing during London Marathon

LONDON (AP) - London marathon organizers say one runner has died after collapsing during the race.
The 30-year-old woman, who was not identified, fell Sunday near the finish at Buckingham Palace in central London.
Organizers said in a statement Sunday night that "although immediate medical attention was provided to the casualty, the fatality was confirmed this afternoon."
More than 37,000 people took part in the 42.2-kilometer (26.2-mile) race in sunny conditions.
