IRVINE, Calif. (AP) -- Sarah Denninghoff won the 100-meter backstroke Friday night for her second victory in three days in the U.S. Open.
Denninghoff, from Tucson, Ariz., finished in 1 minute, 0.04 seconds at William Woollett Jr. Aquatic Center. She won the 200 backstroke on Wednesday night.
Hayley Baker of Australia was second in 1:00.86, followed by Clara Smiddy of Miami in 1:01.06.
