Sunday - 7/21/2013, 5:09pm  ET

GULLANE, Scotland (AP) -- A glance at Sunday's final round of the British Open at 7,192-yard, par-71 Muirfield.

Winner: Phil Mickelson, who shot a final round 66 to finish at 3-under-par and win by three shots.

Close behind: Henrik Stenson finished three shots behind, while Adam Scott, Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter were another shot back.

Where's Tiger? Tiger Woods stumbled again in the final round, shooting a 74 to finish five shots back.

Notable: Mickelson's first win in the British gives him wins in three major championships. The only one he hasn't won is the U.S. Open, where he has finished second six times.

Quotable: "Today was as good as I could play. It was one of the best rounds I've ever played." -- Phil Mickelson

Next: The next British Open is July 17-20, 2014, at Royal Liverpool.
