WASHINGTON (AP) -- D.C. United have acquired midfielder Kyle Porter from the Vancouver Whitecaps for a second-round pick in next year's MLS supplemental draft.
United announced the move Thursday.
The 23-year-old Canadian had an impressive preseason stint with United, scoring two match-tying goals.
Porter also made his debut with the Canadian national team last month.
