WASHINGTON - D.C. United midfielder Andy Najar has been transferred to Belgian club Anderlecht.
The 19-year-old Honduran trained with Anderlecht last month and has been on loan with the team for several weeks.
Najar had 10 goals and 11 assists over three seasons with United. He has made three appearances with the senior Honduras national team and also represented his country at the London Olympics.
United announced the transfer Wednesday.
