WASHINGTON - D.C. United rookie midfielder Lance Rozeboom has undergone surgery to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
General Manager Dave Kasper said Friday he expects Rozeboom to "make a full recovery by the end of this year."
Rozeboom was injured in a practice in Los Angeles after United's game against the Galaxy on March 18.
Rozeboom was selected in the second round of this year's MLS supplemental draft.
