PHOENIX (AP) -- It took a while but the highly publicized trade between Arizona and Atlanta involving Justin Upton has been completed. The deal sends the 25-year old to the Braves, along with third baseman Chris Johnson, for former All-Star infielder Martin Prado (mar-TEEN' PRAH'-doh) and four minor leaguers. Upton joins his brother B.J. on the Braves roster.

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- This week's stop on the PGA Tour is the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego. Masters champ Bubba Watson has had to pull out because of an illness. But despite that, it is a strong field with Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. The first round is being played today.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan, the second-ranked team in the AP poll, is looking for some revenge tonight with a game at home against Purdue. They last time they met was last season and on senior night in Ann Arbor, Mich., the Boilermakers pulled the upset. Michigan is 17-1 while Purdue is 10-8.

BOSTON (AP) -- The last time the Knicks and Celtics met, New York's Carmelo Anthony was suspended for taking an on-court argument with Kevin Garnett too far. This evening they'll be squaring off again in Boston.

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- The Joe Gibbs Racing team is ready for the new season. The organization announced today that Kyle Busch has signed a long-term extension with JGR to keep driving the No. 18 Toyota Camry. Bush, who has made the Chase for the Cup five times since 2005, says he was considering at least two other ownership groups.
