Police search for gunman after Md. triple shooting

WASHINGTON — Police are looking for a gunman after three people were shot outside a Hyattsville restaurant Saturday night.

Investigators say there was an altercation around 8 p.m. inside a Qdoba restaurant located on America Boulevard, near East-West Highway. According to police, the suspect got a gun out of his vehicle, and then opened fire on a group of people walking out of the restaurant.

A 16-year-old girl and two men, 20 and 18 years old, were shot. All three victims were shot in the leg. One of the victims has since been released from the hospital.

The gunman remains on the loose. Police say he has shoulder-length dreadlocks, was wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans, and was driving a red four-door vehicle.
