Police ID victims of fatal Oxon Hill crash

WASHINGTON — Prince George’s County Police Department released the names of the five people who died in a rear-end collision in Oxon Hill, Maryland, Friday.

Investigators say it appears an Acura was stopped at a traffic light when it was rear-ended by a Mercedes near the intersection of Livingston Road and Livingston Terrace. Police say crews initially responded to the scene for a car fire about 9:40 p.m.

Police say the driver of the Acura was the sole survivor in that car. Two women and two children in the Acura died. The victims have been identified as 32-year-old Typhany Wilkerson, of Tobias Drive in Southeast D.C., 1-year-old Hassan Boykin, 13-year-old Khadiua Ba and 35-year-old Tameika Curtis — all of Bryan Place in Southeast D.C.

One female passenger in the Mercedes was killed and she has been identified as 21-year-old Dominique Green. Police were not able to confirm her home address.

Police say the driver of the Mercedes is in critical condition. A second passenger is in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Police say speed and weather may have been factors.
