Trooper’s tactical vest, knife stolen from vehicle

BEL AIR, Md. (AP) — Maryland State Police say a trooper’s tactical vest and other equipment were stolen from an unmarked police vehicle at the trooper’s home.

Troopers say the items were stolen early Friday in Bel Air after the rear window of the vehicle was smashed.

Police say a green ballistic vest, which was labeled “Trooper” and “STATE Team,” and ammunition, a pry bar and a knife in the vest were stolen. A green flight suit and a gas mask were also taken.
