DELMAR, Del. (AP) -- Delaware State Police have arrested a man they say led law enforcers on a 90-minute, two-state chase in a tractor-trailer.
Troopers say a neighbor saw a 10-wheel day cab tractor hit a shed and drive off from a business in Seaford about 2:50 a.m. Tuesday. Police say officers followed the truck into Maryland, where law enforcers in that state joined the pursuit.
Authorities say after 45 minutes, the tractor-trailer went back into Delaware, driving north in the southbound lanes on U.S. 13.
Police say the vehicle was driving on flat tires after running over stop sticks. It eventually stopped in Seaford behind a fast-food restaurant.
Forty-four-year-old Christopher Cornish of Seaford was arrested and charged on outstanding warrants. Troopers say he will be arraigned on charges in the chase later.
