Officials fear more were victimized at Fort Meade

BALTIMORE (AP) -- The Justice Department is urging parents of children who attended the Fort Meade Youth Center to talk to their children after a former counselor was charged with child sexual abuse.

U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein told Baltimore's WJZ-TV Thursday that parents whose children knew Anthony Williams II should try to find out if anything happened to them.

The 27-year-old Severn man was charged Tuesday. The FBI says Williams abused two adolescent boys during the eight years he worked at Fort Meade. Williams' lawyer, Washington attorney Sheryl Wood, declined to comment Friday on the allegations.

Investigators say they found cellphone text messages between Williams and the two alleged victims, plus other possible children from the Fort Meade program.
