HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Two people died in a motorcycle crash on I-70, and Maryland State Police troopers are investigating.
Troopers say several motorcycles were traveling east just before Indian Springs when the group slowed for unknown reasons. Troopers say a motorcycle driven by 46-year-old Mark D. Stephens of Falling Waters, W.Va., struck a motorcycle operated by his son, 23-year-old Mark B. Stephens.
The younger Stephens and his passenger, 19-year-old Megan R. Daymude of Inwood, W.Va., both died in the crash.
The elder Stephens also hit another motorcycle rider, 42-year-old Matthew L. Adams of Martinsburg, W.Va.
