Tuesday - 4/23/2013, 2:44pm  ET

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Police in Hagerstown say four recent shootings are part of a gang feud.

Two people have been wounded since April 15. Police say six members of the Crips gang have been charged.

Chief Mark Holtzman told The Herald-Mail (http://bit.ly/Y1ywfn ) Monday that police hope the public will help them identify other suspects.

He says police also are working with the public schools to identify and monitor suspected gang members.

Police say that on April 15, a member of the Crips and a member of the Bloods were wounded by gunfire on North Jonathan Street. Shots were fired on West Bethel Street later that night.

On April 16, someone shot at children walking to school on South Potomac Street.

Shots were reported Saturday in the 100 block of East Avenue.
