SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Salisbury Police say a manager was beaten during a robbery of a fast-food restaurant.
Police say early Monday, two men pushed their way into a Burger King when an employee was taking out the trash. One robber displayed a handgun and demanded that the manager give them money from the register and safe.
One robber hit the manager several times in the head with his gun when the manager could not open the safe.
The Daily Times of Salisbury reports (http://bit.ly/10qo3XA) that the robbers forced the two workers to take off their pants and shoes and tied their hands and feet before fleeing in a car.
The employees freed themselves and called police. The manager was treated and released at a local hospital.
