ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Authorities in Anne Arundel County say they are handling numerous accidents as a result of icy conditions.
A spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Police Department says 60 crashes were reported between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Spokesman Justin Mulcahy says motorists should expect major delays as a result of crashes and residual delays from earlier wrecks.
Mulcahy says police and fire officials are working a crash in the area of Waugh Chapel Road and Silver Way. That crash involves a cement truck and another vehicle, and the road is expected to be closed for a long time.
