Officers executing search warrant shot at

FORESTSVILLE, Md. (AP) - Prince George's County Police have charged a man with multiple counts of attempted murder after officers were fired upon while executing a search warrant.
Authorities went to a home in Forestville about 5 a.m. Monday to serve a narcotics search warrants. Police say a heavy steel door blocked their entry and officers used a two-person ram to force the door open.
Officials say just as police were getting inside the home, someone fired on the officers. None of them was hit.
Police say a man ran to a rear bedroom and threw a weapon out the window. The man was arrested and the weapon was recovered.
Twenty-five-year-old Jeremiah Ronald Pearson was arrested.
