Man charged after boy, 6, accidently shoots self

CLINTON, Md. - Prince George's County police have charged a man after a 6-year-old boy accidentally fatally shot himself after finding a loaded gun in a children's backpack.
Twenty-year-old Raymond A. Brown was arrested after Monday's accident. He is charged with reckless endangerment and was held on $45,000 bond.
Police say the boy, whom they refused to identify, pulled the gun from a children's Spiderman backpack and shot himself in the chest. The incident occurred at the boy's great-grandmother's home in Clinton, where the boy lived and Brown stayed.
