HYATTSVILLE, Md. - A town hall meeting in Prince George's County this week is focusing on job creation and economic development.
The meeting's scheduled for Monday evening at the Atrium at Treetops in Hyattsville.
It's being hosted by the county's minority business development division, along with County Council Chair Andrea Harrison and Council member Mel Franklin.
They'll be discussing a bill, enacted by the council, creating bidding preferences and participation requirements for small minority businesses on certain procurement contracts with the county.
