$1M winning lottery ticket sold at Waldorf store

WALDORF, Md. — A soon-to-be millionaire is out there after the latest Mega Millions drawing. The Maryland Lottery says someone bought a $1 million winning ticket from the Washington Mart in Waldorf for Tuesday’s drawing.

The second-tier winning ticket matched the numbers 16-29-46-48-55.

The winner has 182 days after the drawing to come forward and claim the prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

According to the Maryland Lottery, the Waldorf store will earn a $2,500 bonus for selling the ticket.

No one matched the Mega Ball to snag the jackpot, which means it’s climbing to $150 million for the Friday, Oct. 10 drawing. That jackpot would result in a $90 million cash option.

Friday’s Mega Millions drawing is at 11:22 p.m. Click here to see winning numbers.
