40 bicycles for Baltimore program stolen

BALTIMORE (AP) — Parks officials have suspended Baltimore’s Ride Around the Reservoir program after more than 40 bicycles used for the program were stolen from a park.

Baltimore City Recreation and Parks said in an email on Thursday that the bikes were stolen Monday from Druid Hill Park, where the program began in 2006.

The agency said anyone who has one of the stolen bikes can drop it off at a recreation center or BCRP headquarters, no questions asked.

The Ride Around program allows patrons to borrow bikes and helmets and take a ride through the park.
