Albemarle police offer reward for cold case info

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Albemarle County police are hoping a reward will help them resolve the disappearance and death of a Fluvanna County man.

Jesse Hicks of Antioch left his home for work on Sept. 1, 2004, and didn’t return. The 47- year-old’s remains were found earlier this month in a remote area near Keene in Albemarle County.

A cause of death hasn’t been released.

Media outlets report that Albemarle County police are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to a resolution of the case.
