D.C. businesses, residents without water after water main break

WASHINGTON – Some D.C. businesses and an apartment complex are without water Thursday morning after a water main broke in Northeast D.C.

D.C. Water says a 12-inch water main broke at about 2 a.m. on Michigan Avenue near Irving Street in Northeast D.C. Officials say 10 businesses and a small apartment complex are without water as a result.

Officials say water may be restored to the area around 4 p.m.
